Ing. Markéta Saláková

I have more than 10 years’ experience with designing interiors, flats and houses in Czechia, United Kingdom, and Israel. My qualifications include master’s degree from Czech Technical University in Prague, civil engineering authorization and I am an authorized engineer for UK (CEng MICE) and EU as well. I also have a certificate in Interior Design from The Interior Design School.

Thanks to my studies at technical university, I get a bigger picture when designing interiors. I see the building as a whole and therefore can design a space that is playful, yet functional. And that greatly complements the buildings‘ purpose. I always think about the interior in a wider context and understand all the mandatories and possibilities. My work includes both residential and commercial spaces.

The experience from different countries gave me the perspective of all-time best practices and current trends. I will design a space you won’t get tired of. Your satisfaction is my main goal. I’d love for you to feel relaxed, safe, and comfortable in the interior. But also, the space has to be functional and timeless at the same time. I can design a space effectively for both sky-high and lower budgets. My job is also a hobby for me, and I am looking forward to any challenge!

I am a perfectionist and care about even the smallest of details. Firstly, I need to hear all your wishes and visions. Then, I will propose the layout, style, colours and materials. I will create a moodboard and 2D or 3D visualisation, whichever you would prefer. Also, I will choose all features for you, from curtains and pictures to handles or small decorations. It is also possible to help you with the realisation process – I have a list of trustworthy suppliers and can supervise the process on site.
